UB Pathway - when in October is Interest paid

I have some money in a UB Pathway account, and intend moving it as soon as interest is paid as they dropped their rates on the Friday of the August Bank Holiday weekend.

They say Interest is paid in October, but did not mention a date. Anyone know if its the last day, the anniversary of the initial deposit, or what?

interest is paid later in October, not sure what date, but if you go in withdraw all your money and tell them you want to close the A/C then they have to pay you the interest there and then. I did this last month once the 6 month bonus period was up.

Thanks Alpine, my six months is up this month, so when the interest is paid I'm moving to state savings bonds.

Interest is applied on the 31st of October, and you will normally see the credit on the 1st of November (or next working day, haven't checked calendar!!)
