AAM best buys states that "If you close your account at any stage during the year, the bonus interest will not be paid".

What exactly does this mean?
Does it mean just within 12 months or any time afterwards? In which case I would be best to close after 1 year most likely?

The Ulster Bank T&C's state:

annual bonus of 1% Gross/AER paid if no more than 4 withdrawals are made in an annual period:

and then states:

Frequency interest paid: Annually in January

Hence, it would appear to be that withdrawals are limited to 4 withdrawals from 1 January to 31 December each and every year to get your bonus.
