We are currently renovating a house and our builder is really doing great work to get the project finished on time (he has said he will be finished in 7 weeks...) We called up last Sunday to have a look around and there were 2 tradesmen working away! Our first stage payment Cert is being sent in today as we are really caught for money- have ended up applying to CU for a loan to tide us over but waiting for that EFT to hit my account! My builder is being very understanding but I know he needs money soon...does anyone know how long the bank usually takes to process the application...and in real terms,how soon our solicitor will have the cheque. Am stressed out (and 25 weeks pregnant...not a good mix!)
