UA overpayments

we are a family claiming UA.My husband works part time and his earnings vary from week to week.When we first started claiming his earnings were lower on average then they are now.If we contact the social welfare office and inform them and they reassess our claim and pay less UAas a result how will they deal with the overpayment will they want a lump sum back or will they be happy taking it back over time

If SW decide there is an overpayment it can be paid back over time, usually by deduction from the ongoing claim.
