U.S Share transfer

I have a small no. of shares in a U.S. multinational.....total value at moment of approx $10,000. I would like to transfer them to my grand-daugher who is only approx 6 mths old for her future.

I downloaded the forms etc and it states that I need a "Medallion Signature Guarantee" in order to complete transfer. Could someone please explain where I can get this done and if there is much/any costs involved. Tnks

Medallion Signature Guarantees

U.S. banks or mutual fund companies often require signature guarantees. Unfortunately we cannot legally perform a medallion signature guarantee. Please check with your bank or stock company for further information.
