Hi,

Anyone have any opinions about these new houses in Tynan Hall Park? I have not viewed them yet as they are out of my price range, but as they are new houses would the developer be interested in taking a low offer do you think? (first time buyer and mortgage approved).

I have a feeling that developers will bite the hand off you for offering anything at all. Last year I was nosing around a new apartment complex and was up viewing the penthouse (let's be honest it'll be the only time I'll ever be in one far too pricey). Anyway the guy (not an Estate Agent) was giving me the tour telling me that it was well worth the 400K they were asking. I said it was too pricey - he rang the builder and the builder said that he'd take 320K - and the deposit to secure was only 1K. (As I said I was only having a nose around).

Went and looked at the houses yesterday and they are lovely.

Seriously thinking of putting in an offer. They will probably laugh but I'm in no hurry to buy so if they dont accept my offer I can keep looking.
