I bought two Kitchen Aid ovens last August & have had problem after problem with one. After dreadful experience with customer service I have eventually been offered a refund. There seems to be a diffuculty with sourcing a replacement. The invoice from the company I made the purchase from states double oven but they are in fact two seperate ovens but installed one on top of the other so looks like a double oven. My difficulty is that I cannot get another replacement oven which will match the functioning one. I am obviously extremely annoyed at this situation as the ovens cost me €1850. I have requested a refund for both ovens but as there is no problem with second oven this has been refused. Just wondering if I have any basis on which to pursue this?

Wouldn't think so, you're only entitled to a refund on the one that's not working properly

Unfortunate but I would agree that since there's nothing wrong with the other one, you are entitled to and will not get a refund.

It seems that it was made clear to the seller that the ovens were to be installed as one, and that the seller's invoice reflected that in describing them as a double oven.

To my mind, that is a basis for rejecting the pair of ovens.

I'd tend to agree with this...

If it were me I'd argue the toss... you've nothing to loose!
