TV Price Difference - North/South - Argos

Got the new Argos Calalogue - browsed through the TV section as i am looking to get a new one,

42" Toshiba HD ready etc - €800
Exeact Same TV (same description code) - £500 (€550 euro) up north.

Guess i will be heading to Newry again!
 
You're going to travel all the way to Newry?
Why not just order it off the internet and get it delivered?
 
To be honest I just presumed they dont deliver to the South, it doesnt make sense to sell them dearer here and deliver from the North cheaper?
 
Well you don't have to buy it from Argos. Just do an internet search for the product, and buy it from the best price retailer.

(I just got a sonos music system delivered from a place in North England, saving €€€s.)

They do deliver down the south, only to happy to, think it's an extra €20, Still a huge saving.
 
I bought our LCD TV up north earlier this year and they delivered to our door (Dublin) for an extra 20 (I think). In or around that amount anyway. No problems so far.
