Hi, can anyone help?
I have a Grundig 32" TV which when powered on will stay on for a few seconds, the picture will start to move to the top of the screen and then the power will cut out.
This will happen a few times in a row, each time the amount of time it's stays on will be different.
But eventually after a few power on/off it will stay on.
I know I can leave it into be repaired, but I wouldnt mind giving it a shot myself
Problem with the HT powersupply to the tube?? The fact that it stays on when 'warmed up' maybe as simple as a dry solder joint etc. To be honest I don't think this is a DIY job. I take it that the TV has a CRT. 10,000's of volts in there, even for a few mins after being turned off.
