TV Licence owner of property dead

Got a notice in the door of a relatives house from a TV licence inspector. The person died in January and the house is unoccupied. The house is going through probate. What is the law. There is a television there which we could if we have to take out. Who would they bring to court as the property is still in the dead persons name.

Take the TV out and tell them house is unoccupied with no TV there.

Refer the inspector to the executor / personal representative. S/he looks after this for the estate.
