TV channels available in Cavan

Any idea what channels I might be able to get in Cavan on regular aerial? I know in the UK there is such a thing as a freeview set top box that you can pick up a lot of channels. Just wondering since it is close to the border, would one of those boxes be useful up there?

I was in Flemmings dept store in Monaghan last year and they were selling the free view boxes, not sure how much they cost. You shuld be able to get digital telly in Cavan, unless you are under a hill or something like that.


If you don't want to go the digital route you should pick up BBC1,2, UTV and C4 from the north. The other option is a satellite system, these Free To Air systems have been discussed on the board.
