turnaround time for new mortgage ?

can anyone advise what the turnaround time is from initial approval to actually receiving the cheque ? i seem to remember in the past this could be up to 4 weeks...
 
If you had your full set of documents. it could be done in around 4 weeks. Once your life assurance flies without any need for further medical evidence. It could be possible, Once all parties play ball( solicitor broker bank and of course the applicant
 
As above it depends on the title deeds being in order, swift completion of paperwork by both solicitors (yours and the vendors), returning all necessary documentation, having your life and fire cover in place and fulfilling any other conditions on your letter of offer.

If its all very straightforward it may be possible but unfortunately delays occur due to any number of reasons.
