I see that Ryanair are flying in to Turin Airport. Is Turin worth a city break? Is it possible and easy to cross the border back in to France or to visit the Italian riviera easily from there using public transport?

Plenty to do for a weekend in Turin - nice city with fine squares, covered shopping arcades, cafes etc. ... I was there about 2 years ago and there was a lot of construction going on for the winter olympics, but that should all be completed now.

Would be quite a distance to the French Riviera I think ... Italian coast is pretty accessible - trains to Genoa (fabulous city to visit) take an hour and a bit.

I agree Turin is a great city so you could probably survive a weekend wandering around.

If you are a football fan head out to the Delle Alpi to see Juventus or Torino

Its a hour by train from Milan if you fancy a trip over there just in case you get bored!
