Trying to get a statement out of First Acitve

I've been trying to get a statement (from a couple of years ago) out of First Active for the last few weeks. Its important that I get my hands on it and they have been told as much on each occasssion I've spoken to them. Closing the account was thrown into the mix - but this doesnt seem to have motivated them. I will be closing the account (thats guaranteed) but I still need that statement.


Anyone else have similar experiences?

Have you put your request to them in writing?

I havn't Clubman. Have made 7 calls. Was promised callbacks on the last two - and didnt receive any. I am just going to keep doing what i'm doing and switch the account afterwards. Apparently moving to a competitor isnt an incentive to sort out a crumby statement. In all fairness, they have done us a favour as their rate isnt the most competitive and the cash should have been moved before this point.

I would put the request in writing. It's often the only reliable way to do business even in this day and age...
