Trying to find old pension plans

Hi all

apologies if this has been asked before, but I've searched for it and haven't found anything about it.

Basically I had two defined contribution pension schemes with two different employers 7 years ago - I'd just left uni and went through two jobs in the space of 10 months. (had a ball though!) After that I left for London and further field, and returned to Ireland two years ago. I haven't started a pension since.

I'm looking into pensions now and for the life of me I cannot remember the pension companies I had these schemes with. I've since lost any relevant paperwork also. Is there any company in Ireland that can find out where I hold these pensions? Or is it something I can do myself?

Apologies (again!) if this is a stupid question, I'm trying to become pension-savvy but at the moment I'm pretty much a beginner. Cheers for any responses.

In the first instance, contact your old employers.

If the companies don't exist any more, I think the Pensions Board ([broken link removed]) maintain a register of Occupational Pension Schemes with relevant contact details.
