Am leaving my current job and starting a new one after a 3 week break and am trying to figure out what my last paycheck in my current one should be.

I'm leaving my current job mid-month so in the middle of the current pay cycle. Get paid monthly so until now my paycheck has been calculated on my gross pay / 12. However, will they revert back to calculating my last paycheck on the number of weeks worked instead? And what about the tax? I just find this all a bit confusing to work out.

Generally, your salary should be pro-rata for the number of days worked in the month as a proportion of the number of work days.

Often times, there would be holiday pay arising.

You should get a full months tax credits and allowances
