Hi,

I receiced noticication yesterday from my mortgage provider stating
that in accordance with instructions from the Revenue that
i will no longer benifit from any further TRS for the coming year.

When i enquired why with the revenue they very helpfully told me
that i was still registered at a previous address and my TRS was split
between that and my current address.

The property is from a previous relationship and my
name has not been on the deeds or any mortages since 2004.

My problem is my previous partner still owns the property and
I do not want to open up a whole messy can of worms by having
to involve her in any way or alert her to the fact that this is happening.

I am newly married with a toddler and another on the way and I really
dont need anything to help stress us all out.

What does this mean for me? Advice very much appreciated.

Thanks

If you have no involvement with the other property then just tell Revenue!

Hi Clubman,

Thank you for your short sharp reply.

I am obviously not as well educated or as informed as frequent posters
to this site and that is exactly the reason why I posted.
If you had taken an extra couple of minutes to read and digest my post
you might have given me an actual answer to the questions I was asking
and the situation I find myself in.
Instead you dived in, stated the obvious and made me feel like a total
idiot for having the audacity to ask such a thing.

I was hoping to gain some peoples personal experience or views on this
matter.

Thanks for your time, I won't waste it in the future.

Regards.

byr02, I didn't think it was possible to receive TRS for more than one property i.e. your PPR. You should ring them again and just tell them that you no longer have any connections with the previous address and to put all TRS against your current residence.

Careful now - you might upset the original poster by answering the question in the same way I did.
