TRS Relief

My partner and i have a mortgage in joint names. do we both qualify for tax refief??

At the moment our payments are around €1056 and we get €166 trs relief.
is this correct??

i'm no expert and have only drawndown our mortgage very recently, but there are lots of threads on here about TRS


Is it a first mortgage for both of you?

and what portion of your repayment is interest?

with that information you should be able to work out if what you're getting is correct.

TRS is an individual allowance and both of you must apply for it. if you're already receiving the trs then either one or both of you must have completed form TRS 1. have a read through these:
