Hi everybody,
I'm sure this is a simple question for you gurus to answer, as when it comes to taxation my mind usually rebels and starts wondering about simpler things ...
Timeline:
---------
Myself and (now ex-)girlfriend bought an apartment 5.5 years ago.
We were both first time buyers
She moved out after 2 years.
I lived there for 5 years 2 months in total.
I then moved into new girlfriend's place :0)
Myself and ex have the apartment rented out for past 4 months.
Question:
----------
As a result of moving out of my apartment I'm no longer part of TRS scheme. I assume this is because it's no longer my principle residence. Is this right? I don't want to be losing out over something I've overlooked on my side
Thanks in advance!
Cheers,
agwa
