Hi,

I have a mortatage with Ulster Bank since 2007. I applied for my TRS in May 2008.I also applied with the TRS1 form for my backdated TRS for 2007.
Will the TRS I am owed from 2007 be paid directly from the Revenue Dept to me? or will they just lump it in with my deductions I am currently getting through Ulster Bank.I cant really decipher what has been applied?
Do TRS have a direct email and/or phone number?

This happened me too, with First active. I got a letter saying that i was due a trs refund of €x and that it would be left as a pre payment against my mortgage or both mr. aoc and me could send a letter (both signatures required) and get a cheque refund. Sent the letter and had cheque within 2 weeks..

so basically I shouldnt be expecting any money from the TRS dept in Revenue, it will all be applied through my bank?

it all goes through the bank is my recollection. I was delighted.... i know the sensible thing to do would have been to offset it against the mortgage, but hey can't be sensible all the time.
