Hello

My loan cheque was drawn on Dec14th, and straight away i completed the TRS form given to me by the bank and sent away to Revenue.
I am just wondering how long it normally takes for it to kick in, and when i should expect to start getting this back monthly?

any knowlegde or experience of this appreciated

It normally takes the Revenue about 6-8 weeks to process the TRS. It will be all back dated and should be paid as a lump sum so you won't lose out any payments. Give them or your lender a ring if it goes on longer than this.
 
I am going to scream! Sent my form in last Oct. Was told there was a big backlog so waited. Rang today. No record of receiving it. Tried to fill in online at revenue.ie and site tells me that "mortgage ac no. from that institution normally looks like 00000123" and won't let me go to next page even tho I know mortgage no is right. Will have to go digging out paperwork again. I would ring if I were you just to check 1890 463626. You just need your pps no.
 
Am having the same problem as Danmo - also sent in my TRS last September. I am still waiting for a refund for last year.They didn't admit to a backlog, which is interesting. They blamed the bank for the holdup, when in fact the bank have not yet received the reimbursement to pass onto me. Very frustrating 6 months later and 400 euro owed.
