TRS June change question

I am a FTB and paying the full mortgage in my own name and claiming TRS on the interest.

I am getting married in November of this year and had understood that my future wife would then become part owner of the house and in turn start claiming her FTB relief from November forward. Just in time to beat the Dec 31st deadline whereby the rate would decline considerably.

The news now is that FTB abolition is coming back to June 2011 in the new programme for government...

Is there anyway I can approach AIB before June and ask if she can begin paying towards the mortgage now or will this need to go to a solicitor for a deed change and all the other bits and pieces that go with it..

I know adding a name to the deeds is expensive but she would be happy to just pay towards the mortgage now and claim her FTB before it is taken away... anybody know the answer to this?? Thanks a mil

You could get quietly married in reg office now and still have big day in Nov. A friend of mine done that for some tax reason.

Actually it's being postponed until the end of the year.
