My Sony Cybershot DSC-W115 has recently started to give hassle. When I switch it on, the lens protracts and then retracts - 4 times in total. Then the following message is displayed on the LCD display "Turn the power off and on again." This makes no difference and when the camera is switched back on, the same procedure occurs. Has anyone ever experienced this problem with this type of camera or a similar model and how did you resolve it? Very disappointing seeing I only bought this camera (on ebay) 7 months ago or so, so I presume its still under warranty. I want to avoid having to send it back to the retailer if possible, if there was a way of completely resetting the camera.
