Trouble with Monitor

Was using Bitcomet to download a file and left the PC running overnight with the monitor turned off.

This morning went to turn it back on again and it clicked and then the on light started flashing but no picture ???

Did not re-boot as dont know if downloaded finished

Its a Sammton monitor but cannot find the manual

It is just a case of rebooting and hope for the best or is the monitored Fubard

Bitcomet should pick up from where it left off so don't worry too much about that. First step would be to power down, power up and see what happens. Should be ok. It just sounds like a power saving glitch somewhere.

if its a crt monitor and is broken, i wouldnt worry too much as nowadays they are practically worthless.

Maybe you were hit by a virus. P2P can be risky!
