Trojan Virus in Java

I just read a recent magazine article about a Virus that is using Java. Windows, Mac, and Linux users are being urged to disable or remove Java, NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH JAVASCRIPT.
A banking Trojan is being installed that targets web browsers being used to view online bank details.

Java is used to enable some tools embedded in websites. Game apps, chat tools.
Go to “add Remove programmes” in Control panel, and delete
I am passing on information only. I have deleted all Java programmes on my PC, but you must decide
 
Or simply make sure that your Java Environment is up to date, disable Java in your browser and follow all the usual best practices when working on the net....
