Hi,

I'm having problems with a fairly new triton electric shower, about 2 year old. Recently the shower was on a setting of 3 but had to be reset to about 7 depite the hot weather, so as to be able to get hot water.
So I got a triton rep out to fix it. He put in a new filter etc and all seemed fine.......for 2 showers.
Now it's making a real dull sounding noise, as though it's forcing the water through with difficulty. It's still flowing strong and is warm though.

I'm going to call the triton guy again but anyone got any ideas on what this might be.....

If you have a problem with lime in your water, it may be the problem with the shower. If so, try taking off the shower head and soaking it in half water half vinegar overnight.

If that does not work the copper tank in the shower unit may have lime on the elements. This tank can be taken out and also soaked overnight in half water half vinegar.
