Trims for tiling

someone told me I would need to have the trips for showers & bath when tiling. Are the trims connected to shower door or what are they exactly?
 
No the trims are placed between the bottom tile and the shower tray to run water from the tiles into the tray
 
thanks - he was looking for 10mm trims, I presume they are cheap enough and available in hardware shops?
 
Try the shop where you bought the tiles - they'll be best able to advise.
