Hi, I have just bought a house and there are about 9 18ft trees at the back of the garden, we have cut down a lot of them as they were overshadowing the garden, now I need to get rid of what we have cut down and also get someone to cut the rest of them down to around 10/12ft, does anyone have a contact for someone who would do this and know how much this would cost?

Also anyone know where we could rent an industrial shredder??
 
You could cut up the larger stuff for firewood, then bring all the smaller stuff to your local bring centre, many of these have facilities for this kind of stuff now.
 
try treeforce - dez rooney/ andy worsnop [they're the arborists for dublin zoo among others] they should be able to chip/ stump grind all your problems
 
You can definitely hire a wood chipper that's about the size of a lawnmower. You could ring a tool hire place near you for advice.
