tree farms

well lads im thinking about getting in ta tree farming. i have 4 acers of land and am thinging of planting ash trees in it to sell as fire wood. i was wondering do i need planning permision 2 plant the trees and are there any laws. aslo would 4 acers be enought.any info would be great. thanks , marty
