Treating teak garden furniture

What is the best thing to treat teak garden furntiure. the set contains untreated table and chairs. Is the best thing a teak oil. I dont want to have to be bringing in the set every time the rain comes.

Teak oil works for me in the rains sodden west, give the furniture a light sanding first and between coats.

We were advised to treat it with wood oil 3 times before we used it..sanding between coats. To oil it before we stored it for the winter and again before we took it back out. AFAIK the reason being that wood dries out and will eventually crack and also the wood will turn a silver colour if left untreated.
