Travelling to USA & drugs conviction.

I am hoping to travel to USA on holiday for 2 months.Unfortunately I have a recent drugs conviction & I wonder will this show up. I will be appling for visa I presume under the normal waver arrangmenti.e. Filling up the form on the airplane or at the airport. Does anyone know if there will be any problem?

As far as I recall the card that you have to fill out for entry to the USA will ask if you have any previous convictions so you will have to divulge this. If you don't and it comes to light I would be very concerned of the implications especially these days! Best to check with the US embassy before travelling to avoid a wasted journey, deportation and possibly worse!

Is not a good idea to lie to United Sates Immigration. Enquire at the embassy it might be possible to get a waiver (like Martin McGuinness and the lads). But I woulnt hold my breath they really dont like anyone with drugs related convictions.
