Travelling to Gothenburg

Next week with a couple of friends, have done some research on the web about things to do while there. Anyone here visited Gothenburg/recommendations of anything worthwhile to do?

Was there over christmas and a lot of things seemed to have been closed then. However, in saying that we took the tram out to different parts of the city and took a stroll around.

Its a lovely city, people very nice and good few nice restaurants and pubs. We didn't find it any more expensive than here, in some places drink was more expensive but in any city in Ireland drink generally that bit dearer in tourist spots.
