Travelling to Germany shortly before passport expires

I am travelling to Germany with Aer Lingus in mid-March for a weekend. My passport will be in date during my travels but expires in early April. Does anyone know if Germany requires your passport to be valid for a certain amount of time after you depart the country? I searched the Aer Lingus site and the Germany embassy site to no avail. Thanks if anyone has any inkling!

You should be fine - all EU countries that I am aware of allow travel if passport is in date with no requirement for validity beyond the date of return.
