Travel options Charleroi Airport to Liege

Hi all,

I hope you can help. I am scheduled to fly to Charleroi Airport on Sunday evening around 20:35.

Could anyone recommend what is the best way to get from the airport to Liege? Also if anyone knows roughly how much a taxi would cost that would be appreciated.

According to this site

there's a train from Charleroi Sud to Liege at 2141 and it takes just over 90 minutes for the journey.
no idea of cost of taxi but the train is only €12.90

dereko1969 is right about the train - just bear in mind there is a 24-hour rail strike in Belgium today (Thursday) and there is a possibility of further strike action, so better check the news before you travel.

A combined ticket for the local bus to the railway station and a train ticket to any station in Belgium is 11.00 euro.
