Travel Insurance

Hows it goin. Am heading travelling for the year doing the usual Thailand, Australia, Fiji, New Zealand, US thing the start of November. Am just wondering what would be my best option with regards getting travel insurance for the year? Would it be advisable to book each thing separately like visa, travel insurance and flights or would i be better off getting it all done through USIT?
