Hi, staying Lake Garda (Malcesine) in August and hope to do an overnight for opera in Verona, anyone recommend best way to travel from Malcesine and/or decent value hotel close to centre of Verona please??
Re the Opera, if your sitting on the stone seating, hire a cushion or bring something (jacket or newspaper) with you to sit on as the stones are like storage heaters, hot. Also, bring in as much water as you can as it you'll every drop of it and it's very expensive to buy inside.
