HI,
I am going to London as a postgraduate and have just applied for a nice loan of the credit union to finance same. I have banked with AIB only before and recently opened up a credit union account to avail of their fantastic apr on a student account (4.76).
I intend to draw down the full amount 15k and transfer it to my AIB account as I have internet banking with them so I will be able to do various transactions online. Can I transfer from an AIB internet account directly into a Credit Union account with one of those code cards or is that not possible? I will have to pay back interest and capital while Im in London so will need to transfer it into a credit union account.
On a side issue, does anybody know can you transfer from an AIB internet account into a UK bank account and vice versa?
