Hi Folks
First time poster here so apologies if incorrect forum etc

I have an account with AIB with about 15k in it (old job in Ireland etc)
Now am living in the UK and I was wondering what was the cheapest/safest methods in getting the money to my Lloyds Sterling current account

So I was thinking I can setup a revolut transfer between the banks to get the cheaper fx rate?
I dont really want AIB to be charging me much etc so I was thinking to tranfer the euros there to revolut? (I think there is a 10k limit per day if I am not mistaken from AIB) and then send that to Lloyds via Revolut?

Thoughts? Am I mad to be trying it this way? Open to other suggestions as well

Thanks

That's the way I did it a few weeks back, saved €300 moving £8.5 K.
Very hard to beat Revolut's EX rates and TX rates (generally free).
