Transfering files from Photoshop to Dreamweaver

Hi All,

I've done some designs in Adobe Photoshop for a website. I can't seem to figure out how to open the file in Dreamweaver. Is this possible? The file is currently saved as a .psd

Any help appreciated

just save your file as a jpg or jpeg

are the files sliced up? or do you have it as a complete image?

Thanks for your replies.

I tried saving it as a jpg but Dreamweaver tells me it cannot open jpg files.

The file does contain different layers in Photoshop but I am happy to have it all together in Dreamweaver as any editing of the graphics can be done in Photoshop.

heya,

'Adobe ImageReady' should come bundled as part of your photoshop.

If you have your file open in Photoshop, go to file>edit in imageReady. ImageReady should open straight up. then you can then compress it more in ImageReady, or if you are happy with the file size then go to File>Save Optimised As..and under 'format' select 'html and images'... save this file where you want and then you can open the html page in dreamweaver no problem.
