transfer phone text to computer how?

dont know where to put this ,in computers and iT or phones forum?
wife has a couple of texts on her phone (wont go into details)but we want to keep them for future reference
so want to know how do i transfer the texts from android phone to windows 10 laptop if thats possible? note not too tech savvy so simpler the better

There is an app called SMS backup + which does exactly what you want.

If there are not too many, a simple option is to take screenshots of the texts and email them to yourself.
