transaction fee free banking?

Many banks offer transaction fee free banking to all customers. www.itsyourmoney.ie should have some info on this in their current account banking cost survey section.
More specifically, in your case, go to [broken link removed]where you will find the following information:
It's easy to automatically qualify for free day-do-day banking transactions in a fee quarter1
Make three payments from your personal current account using Bank of Ireland 365 phone and/or online2 services during the quarter, OR keep a minimum balance of €500 in that account for the full quarter.
The bank won't automatically give you free banking, though - you need to register for it. I think I was able to register over the phone, but I can't remember accurately enough to tell you for sure. Check with your own branch or Banking 365 to see if there is a form to fill in.
