Trains from Lisbon to Porto

Does anyone know where the station to get the train from Lisbon to Porto is. There appears to be three stations in Lisbon and no site seems to tell me which is the correct station.

Also does anyone know if you can book your tickets on the net.

Tripadvisor.com is usually very good for these type of queries. If you have a look on the Lisbon Forum you may find this information. If not, just post your question there and you usually get a very quick response. Enjoy Lisbon!
 
The train from Lisbon starts in St. Apolonia station.

It then stops at the newer Lisbon Oriente station, in the suburbs.

There are 2 types of trains:

Alfa Pendular are faster, with fewer stops.

InterCity are a bit slower.
