Traffic in Dublin 15

Does anyone know why the traffic was so cad heading into town from castleknock? I left the house at 7.45 and reached the city centre at 9.30!!
 
I got the 70x bus from clonee at 7:50am. Sailed down the bus lane on Navan Rd etc. Was in Phibsboro at 8:25am. I love it when the kids are off school!
 
Listen to DCAL fm, they do livedrive from 7-10 and 4-7. The frequency is 103.2fm

Thanks to them I save a ton of time every day - with options from Blanch of the village, N3, Castleknock, Park, Blackhorse they usually give me the right steer as to which route to take. Ditto Parkgate St v Queen St v Church St.
