I was wondering if anyone could tell me how best to track down any relatives living in Australia? Around the time of the Famine a relative of mine was shipped off as a convict to Australia. I know the exact area he settled in after his release from jail, and he married, had kids, grandkids etc. What I was wondering is how I could find out if there are any of his decendants living in that area still? are there registers I can check? are there any forums that would be helpful? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. My dad is very eager to track them down
