Hi, remortgaged 9 years ago and just wanted to ask if it was possible to switch from a variable rate to a tracker rate when you remortgaged back then. good reason for asking. cheers in advance

If you were offered the rate it was. If you were offered it, then it wasnt with that particular bank. Simple as. Just in case your angle was "I was never offered a tracker".

Depends on whether the lender offered it at the time and if it was relevant to the particular mortgage you were choosing. Too broad a question really.
