Toys for Christmas

Just some advice ... get all the catalogues from Argos, Smyths and WOW to compare prices. My DD wants a Bratz which is 36.99 in Argos, but only 29.99 in Smyths. I'm sure there are lots more examples of this.

Has anyone considered going to Northern Ireland to do their Christmas toy shopping?

No affiliation to any toy stores but last weekend I bought a Winnie the Pooh first steps toy in Smyths for 34.99, the exact same toy in the Argos catalogue is 44.99.

As Mary Harney would implore us "shop around" !!!

Yep we've gone up the North for toy shopping in the past and found it to be relatively good value when you factor in the food shopping/cosmetic shopping & the savings as a whole & the cost of petrol. It's not worth your while just to go up for the toys alone.
