Toyota Yaris new model (06-08)

Thinking of buying the above car 2008.
I want a small reliable car and only do about 6K miles a year.
I heard that there has been some problems with this model. Did anyone hear of this? Or can anyone with this model give me some feedback?

Can only speak for 03 and 05. Not a bother. Similar millage annually.

I had a Toyota Yaris 1 ltr. 2007 for a year, which I have just sold. I would have nothing bad to say about the car whatsoever and had no problems with it. I was doing higher mileage and wanted something with a bit more power. That was the only reason I sold it.

I got the letter from Toyota, brought it to the garage. I had it checked within 5 mins and sorted out.

They are a great car, I've driven one for 5 years and never had a problem with it.

I've decided to go for it. Looking at a 08 model
