I have a 2005 Toyota Corrolla T3 (the English version of the Luna), the car keeps dropping reves.

When I get the biting point the reves just drop (to the point where the car is close to cutting out), even though I have not moved my feet off the clutch or the accelerator. I am not the only person who has noticed this with my car so I can not put it down to bad driving.

I have contacted a few Toyota garages & they dont seem to know what is wrong with it. Any advice on what could be wrong with it and how to fix it?

err not good here but it may be the coil pack , is the car cutting out fully??? seems too new for this though.
secondly could be an injector
im prob way wrong tho

it's a 1.4 petrol, it normally doesn't cut out but you have to press the accelerator a small bit more to keep it from conking

It could be the throttle position sensor(tps) has a dead spot. This is a variable resistance similar to the volume control on a radio etc which tell the cars computer how much the throttle is being pressed. It should show up on a diagnostic test.
