Last night as i was going to bed heard on the radio something about the cost of sending a fada and when i woke this morning a news item said the TDs were getting tablets in the Dail. Whats next?
[broken link removed] confirmed yesterday that users would be charged for three text (SMS) messages if they included a single 'sineadh fada' in a text of 160 characters.
I think that fada is 'classed' as an image the same as ć, Ž, Č, Š, etc. and loads of other characters outside of English language. I read somewhere that a lot of people got stung this way by texting in languages which contain those characters.
