Total number of posts does not appear to be updating

I don't know if this is the correct forum for this, but I couldn't find anywhere suitable under admin issues.

Over the past few days, I have noticed that the total number of posts shown at the top of the page has not changed from 167, even though I have made several postings. Has anyone else noticed this happening?

Allowing for Murphy's Law, I was sure that the number was going to change to 168 when I made that last posting. But it doesn't appear to have happened. So I'm not just imagining it.

Posts in The Depths don't count towards your post count.

Postings that are posted in "The Depths" dont receive credit in the post count.

Post in the other sections and your count should go up.
